Remains of an Iron Age fort, or dun, on the southwest side of Colonsay. To the left is a small sheltered beach. There are medieval ruins below the grass on the isthmus in the foreground. At the back, an obviously man-made ramp goes up from the beach to the flat grassy top of the rocky outcrop, where many centuries ago, a large fortified dwelling used to stand.
