Monday Meme 16 : 2005-09-05 : Back to School

1. What is/was your favorite subject in school? Were you good at it naturally, or did you have to work hard?

Film & Television. We got to watch movies sometimes, and create our own. I was good at writing and editing. It was great fun.

2. Do/Did you bring lunch to school, or do/did you buy it there? What is/was your favorite school lunch?

I took lunch to school. It was easier that way. Cheaper, too.

3. Are/Were you involved in any extracurricular activities in school?

Instead of interschool sport, my school had the option of TAFE (not university, but a bit like community college in the States I guess) courses instead. So for several hours every Wednesday afternoon in Yr 12, I completed an accredited course in Video Production.

4. Do/did you have uniforms or a dress code in school? What do/did you typically wear to school?

Yeah, it was Australia. We had a uniform. Grey shorts. A blue-and-white vertically striped shirt with a red R for Rochedale on the pocket. White socks and black shoes. The usual, really. And Wednesdays was blue shorts, and a white polo shirt with the school logo on the front - Sports Uniform.

5. Do/Did you have any back-to-school rituals ( like clothes shopping, a new hairstyle, or an end-of summer party)? Are/Were you excited about going back to school after the summer?

No back-to-school rituals. Excited? Not as such.
